About The Position

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President to join its Healthcare Investment Banking Group in the New York City or San Francisco office. The role involves working with regional and international clients on complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, shareholder relations, recapitalizations, demergers, leveraged buyouts, defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments, and public and private capital markets transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high-quality advice and will contribute to a team of senior professionals who encourage creative thinking beyond the numbers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant investment banking experience, or at least 3 years of post-MBA experience.
• A proven track record working on complex executed deals across M&A and various industry sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication, client, and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial instinct and the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series licensing, or must obtain it.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare industry experience, including Life Sciences Tools & Diagnostics and/or Biopharma.
• An MBA and/or CFA designation.
