About The Position

The Investment Banking Development Program is seeking to hire a MBA full-time Associate to join KippsDeSanto & Co. (“KDC”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital One, to support its mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) advisory practice within the Aerospace, Defense, Government and Technology sectors. KDC is focused on providing comprehensive investment banking services to top-quality clients within their sectors of expertise. Our Associates perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from helping to prepare clients for market, engaging with potential buyers, and facilitating due diligence to ultimately closing the deal. The position offers substantial opportunities to gain financial and technical expertise, professional development, and upward mobility, while taking on a substantial amount of responsibility in transaction execution, client management, and new business development. Requirements

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a 2-year MBA with an expectation that your degree will be obtained by July 2027 or earlier
• At least 1 year of Corporate & Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory experience

Nice To Haves

• Financial modeling experience, including DCF and LBO valuations
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

Responsibilities

• Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and other materials
• Develop an in depth understanding of investment banking products and services
• Conduct industry and market research
• Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial performance
• Assist in the preparation of valuation models
• Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client, prospect client, and professional advisor relationships
• Assisting in the management and mentoring of Analysts
