About The Position

Piper Sandler is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Healthcare Medtech team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or New York, New York. The firm provides investment banking advisory and financing services to corporate clients and financial sponsors, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, private placements, restructuring, and corporate and venture services. The team draws on deep sector and product expertise to provide clients with advice and transaction execution across economic environments. Piper Sandler seeks candidates with genuine potential and interest in advancing within the firm. The position offers an anticipated starting salary of $175,000–$200,000 per year, depending on experience, and is eligible for annual incentive compensation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of investment banking experience at the associate level.
• Prior Medtech sector experience.
• Previous experience executing sell-side M&A transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop internal and external relationships.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
• Highly motivated, team-oriented approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
