The firm is currently seeking an experienced Associate to join its top-ranked Insurance Investment Banking Group in New York City. This group provides sophisticated financial advisory and capital raising services to insurance services firms and underwriters, as well as financial sponsors, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. Associates are crucial to building client relationships and executing transactions, with opportunities to participate in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory projects. The role involves working closely with senior bankers to expand investment banking skills and make a significant impact on clients' businesses. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and seeks to join a dynamic team in New York City.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of prior investment banking or private equity experience
Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions
Excellent financial modeling skills and experience preparing industry and client presentations
Experience with due diligence and transaction execution processes
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a deal team in a fast-paced environment
Extremely detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
Strong work ethic, motivation level, leadership qualities and desire to take initiative
Long-term interest in investment banking
