About The Position

Our client, a global advisory firm, is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its Consumer Investment Banking team in New York. The team advises founder-led, sponsor-backed, and publicly traded consumer companies on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions across a broad range of subsectors, including consumer products, retail, e-commerce, beauty & personal care, food & beverage, restaurants, fitness & wellness, and consumer services. The Analyst will play an integral role in the execution of live transactions and business development initiatives, working closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the deal process. Analysts are expected to take on meaningful responsibility early, develop strong technical skills, and interact directly with clients, private equity investors, and strategic acquirers. This role offers the opportunity to advise innovative consumer brands and market-leading businesses while gaining exposure to complex middle-market M&A transactions, significant client interaction, and long-term career development within one of the industry's leading consumer investment banking platforms.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of investment banking experience
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience within consumer and retail is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to work collaboratively across deal teams
