About The Position

The Investment Banking Analyst – Energy supports deal execution, financial analysis, and client relationship management. Analysts participate in a comprehensive Global Graduate Training Program to develop foundational financial, technical, and professional skills for a career in investment banking. The role involves researching companies and industries, preparing pitch books, building financial models, assisting with live transactions, and collaborating with senior bankers and product partners. Analysts are expected to ensure the accuracy and quality of presentation materials and client deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products.
Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced financial modeling skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a team player and self-starter.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in finance, business, or a related field or sector.
Experience in the relevant sector is preferred.
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

Responsibilities

Participate in the Investment Banking Graduate Training Program, developing financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills.
Conduct company and industry research, prepare pitch books, and support deal origination efforts.
Build and maintain detailed financial models for transaction analysis, including M&A, LBOs, and capital raising activities.
Assist with live transaction execution, including due diligence, documentation, and client communications.
Collaborate with senior bankers and product partners on strategic advisory mandates and capital markets transactions.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of presentation materials and client deliverables.
