About The Position

Co-op Analysts will participate in a one-week training and orientation program and are assigned to a specific Investment Banking product or industry group during the program. In addition to this on-the-job experience, the program includes the opportunity to network across various business groups, learn about the culture of BMO Capital Markets, participate in training and learning seminars, and obtain career guidance from dedicated mentors. As an Investment Banking Co-op Analyst at BMO Capital Markets, you will be part of a dynamic investment banking environment, you will gain valuable exposure to a wide number of industries and work with a variety of financial products, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory. This position is located in Vancouver and ideally suited to talented, highly motivated individuals who seek to build a solid, comprehensive foundation in the basic skills of investment banking. An interest in metals and mining is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with academic course work in finance, economics, or accounting; graduating in Spring 2028
Proven track record of excellent academic standing, extra curricular participation and demonstrated interest in finance
An interest in metals and mining is strongly preferred
Preference will be given to students in finance, accounting, economics, engineering and math (statistics)
