This role requires adherence to governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The Investment Associate champions a customer-focused culture, deepens client relationships, and identifies new business opportunities to gather assets and increase revenue. They possess in-depth knowledge of products and services, ensure the suitability of client recommendations, and manage transaction execution. The role involves preparing and presenting reports, developing financial plans, and assisting with client communication and marketing. Additionally, the Investment Associate coordinates business development by supporting the annual business plan, managing marketing programs, prospecting leads, and maintaining the Advisor's website. They also contribute to the team's functioning by acting as a leader to other assistants, streamlining administrative processes, building relationships, and fostering an inclusive work environment. The Investment Associate works independently on areas of primary responsibility, such as a segment of the client book or target revenue generation, and escalates client issues that pose a risk to the firm or Advisor. They have a high level of authority to initiate, implement, and suggest investment strategies and work independently with clients.
