Summer 2028 Internship Interest Form

Weiss Asset Management•Boston, MA

About The Position

Weiss Asset Management invites interest in its Summer 2028 Investment Analyst Internship. This interest form is not an application; candidates must apply when formal applications open. The internship offers collaboration with WAM’s investment team, which invests globally in equities, derivatives, and fixed income using fundamental and quantitative strategies. Candidates may pursue a fundamental recruiting track, which evaluates research skills and fundamental analysis, or a quantitative track, which emphasizes coding, statistics, and game theory. Both tracks lead to the same summer program, and interns gain exposure to both fundamental and quantitative approaches. Interns and junior analysts contribute to research, strategy development, and all stages of the investment process. Each intern is paired with dedicated investment-team mentors who provide ongoing guidance and feedback. Projects can be tailored to interns’ current skills and development goals. The investment team works collaboratively rather than in silos, and the firm hosts events to help interns build relationships with senior investment staff and the broader firm. Weiss Asset Management is a Boston-based investment firm with more than 30 years of experience developing proprietary strategies. It manages approximately $4.5 billion across hedge funds and institutional accounts and has a team of more than 130 people. The firm welcomes exceptional candidates from all majors and backgrounds.
