Summer 2028 Internship Interest Form

Weiss Asset Management•Boston, MA

About The Position

Weiss Asset Management invites interest in its Summer 2028 Investment Analyst Internship. Summer analysts collaborate closely with the investment team, which invests globally in equities, derivatives, and fixed income using fundamental and quantitative strategies. The firm offers two recruiting tracks that lead to the same summer program: a fundamental track focused on research skills and fundamental analysis, and a quantitative track emphasizing coding, statistics, and game theory. Interns gain exposure to both approaches regardless of their interview track. Interns contribute to research, strategy development, and stages of the investment process across quantitative and fundamental strategies. Each intern is paired with investment-team mentors who provide guidance and feedback, and projects can be tailored to demonstrate existing skills and develop new ones. Interns also participate in events intended to build connections with senior investment staff and the broader firm. This is an interest form, not an application. Applications are expected to open in December 2026 for the fundamental process and February 2027 for the quantitative process. Weiss Asset Management is a Boston-based investment firm with over 30 years of experience developing proprietary investment strategies. It manages approximately $4.5 billion across hedge funds and institutional accounts and has a team of over 130 individuals.
