About The Position

This internship offers practical experience within a professional investment management environment. Interns will gain exposure to portfolio management, security analysis, and financial market research. They will have opportunities to work directly with experienced investment professionals, enhancing their analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and developing a deeper understanding of the role investments play in supporting the insurance industry. The role involves participating in the day-to-day processes of the Investments team, assisting with special projects, and supporting Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Understanding of basic investment concepts and financial markets.
• A genuine interest in investing and financial markets.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the day-to-day processes of the Investments team and assist with special projects.
• Support Portfolio Managers by researching and analyzing prospective and existing securities.
• Maintain investment portfolio analytics and compliance dashboards while identifying and resolving data quality discrepancies.
• Collect and organize market and economic data to support presentations, reporting, and decision-making.
• Assist with investment-related analysis that contributes to portfolio strategy and performance evaluation.
