About The Position

As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you can help your clients reach their goals, while we help you reach yours. This role offers the opportunity to build your own business with the training, support, and resources of RBC. You will leverage RBC Dominion Securities’ strong brand and reputation to build a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, managing their complex financial needs. You will utilize RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans, fostering trusted, long-term relationships through personalized service and advice. Additionally, you will establish and maintain relationships with RBC partners to ensure comprehensive client support.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience.
  • Comfortable earning 100% commission.
  • Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or will prior to your start date.
  • Passion for financial planning.
  • Keen interest in portfolio management.
  • Strong relationship building skills and an ability to connect with all types of individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a direct marketing role.
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Proven success in high value sales and business development, regardless of industry/discipline.
  • Completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Completed the Personal Financial Planner (PFP).
  • Completed the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
  • Completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
