About The Position

RBC Dominion Securities is looking for individuals who are interested in making their clients dreams come true while alleviating their financial fears. This opportunity allows you to shape your own path and build your own business with the security and reputation of RBC backing you. You will establish a client base of high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and foundations, managing their complex financial needs. Leveraging your investment strategy, you will create customized wealth management and investment services for your clients, fostering trusted, long-term relationships through personalized service and advice. You will also establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance.

Requirements

  • Passionate, open-minded individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds, work experiences, perspectives, thinking styles, and expertise.
  • 4-6 years of outbound sales experience and are comfortable earning 100% commission.
  • Completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or will prior to your start date.
  • Self-motivated, have integrity and empathy, and a commitment to a career as an Investment Advisor.
  • Recognize the value of hard work and investment of time to build a successful business.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or a direct marketing role.
  • Demonstrated success in high-value sales and business development, regardless of industry/discipline.
  • Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, etc.
