About The Position
The Investment Accountant supports accounting and reporting for the investment portfolio. The role prepares journal entries, completes account reconciliations, and helps deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements. The Investment Accountant also contributes to process improvements and technology implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience in insurance accounting, investment reporting, internal controls, or process improvement.
- Experience with GAAP and statutory accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries.
- Complete account reconciliations.
- Help deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and technology implementations.
