Receives, reviews, and investigates criminal cases filed with the District Attorney's office. Responsibilities include requesting additional information, reviewing investigator's reports and notes, assisting attorneys with cases by obtaining certified copies of documents, conducting follow-up interviews with victims/witnesses, coordinating polygraph examinations, and photographing crime scenes. The role also involves assisting attorneys with all aspects of a trial, including juries, evidence, testimony, and case progress, as well as assisting with grand jury and pre-trial hearings, issuing subpoenas for witnesses and records, and conducting special investigations upon request.
