About The Position

This role involves assessing the design and effectiveness of a multinational organization’s ethics and compliance program. The position is approximately 3 months with potential to extend, offering a hybrid work module with 3 days weekly onsite in San Francisco, CA or Sunnyvale, CA. The schedule is flexible, averaging 25-30 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours based on workload.

Requirements

  • Experience conducting ethics and compliance program assessments for large multinational organizations
  • Hands-on experience evaluating program design and operational effectiveness
  • Familiarity with DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs guidance
  • Experience assessing global programs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Background in technology, marketplace, or other highly regulated industries
  • Ability to manage work independently and communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • CFE, CIA, legal, regulatory, or in-house compliance experience

Responsibilities

  • Assess the design and effectiveness of a multinational organization’s ethics and compliance program
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and review policies, processes, governance, data, and supporting evidence
  • Evaluate program maturity and benchmark against DOJ guidance and industry practices
  • Identify gaps, root causes, and risk implications
  • Develop prioritized recommendations and an executive-ready improvement roadmap
  • Support internal investigations as needed
