Investigative Research Specialist (Skip Tracing)
About The Position
We are looking for a FULL TIME Investigative Research Specialist (Skip Tracer) to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This role involves digging through information, connecting the dots, and solving challenging cases. No prior skip tracing experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys researching information across multiple databases. As an Investigative Research Specialist, you will use research, public records, and specialized databases to locate individuals, verify employment, and uncover information that helps move legal cases forward. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting the dots, thinking critically, and finding answers others can't. The company is the Collection Division of Messerli Kramer, a respected law firm in the legal debt collections industry, practicing in nine states with nearly 290 employees. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to multitask and handle working under time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong internet navigation skills
- Excellent typing skills – a basic alpha numeric typing test will be given during the interview
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- All applicants must pass a criminal background and drug screening before commencing employment with Messerli & Kramer, P.A.

Responsibilities
- Research, identify and locate asset and demographic information on a given consumer
- Communicate and work with applicable parties on consumer files
