About The Position
WAVY-TV 10 / WVBT FOX 43 is seeking an Investigative Reporter/Producer to research, write, and produce investigative enterprise stories. The role works with reporters, photographers, and managers to cultivate sources, find source material, and manage multiple stories at different stages of development. The position also contributes to the station’s online presence through story posts to WAVY.com. Candidates must have several years of experience delivering investigative enterprise stories from pitch to air and a history of on-air work at a commercial television station. The ideal candidate can obtain relevant public records through court database searches and FOIA requests. The station seeks someone relentless in pursuing the truth, with strong journalistic skills, high ethical standards, and a professional, fair approach to investigative newsgathering. The position requires willingness and ability to work any shift, including overnights, nights, weekends, and holidays. Telecommuting is not available. Requirements
