About The Position

Gray Television's National Investigative Team is seeking a current college student who can work part-time (ten hours per week) during the 2026-2027 school year. This position is fully remote, and reliable internet access is necessary. The candidate should have a strong desire to hold the powerful accountable, an eye for accuracy and a love for digging into data and documents. This is not a coffee-ordering gig. This is a temporary paid job that offers real-world journalism experience while learning from a team of award-winning investigative reporters. The ideal candidate will work 10 hours per week - during standard business hours with the ability to work around school hours.

Requirements

  • Current college student
  • Ability to work part-time (ten hours per week) during the 2026-2027 school year

  • Students majoring in any medium - not just TV - are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Produce investigations that air on more than 100 local television stations across the U.S. and on our Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku channel, InvestigateTV.
  • Work on in-depth, investigative stories that have prompted changes in government and law enforcement programs.
  • Hold the powerful accountable.
  • Dig into data and documents.
