The Safe2Say program focuses on providing a safe and anonymous way for Pennsylvania students, parents, teachers, and community members to report safety concerns, emphasizing early intervention and prevention through awareness and education. The program manages reports via a tip line and tracks dispositions, collects data, and ensures quality control. Safe2Say Analysts act as points of contact for individuals with concerns about school safety or dangerous situations in or related to Pennsylvania schools. They respond to service requests using communication systems like phone, text, email, and web interfaces to gather information and provide resources or emergency response personnel as needed. Analysts assess situations, gather additional information, and ensure proper responses from appropriate agencies. A working knowledge of general law enforcement procedures and crisis line functions, along with attention to detail, reliability, and responsibility, is required.
