The Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco licenses the manufacture, distribution, sale, and service of alcoholic beverage and tobacco products in Florida. This includes processing license applications, collecting and auditing taxes and fees, and enforcing laws and regulations. The division has three bureaus: Licensing, Auditing, and Enforcement, with approximately 330 personnel across the state. This position serves as an inspector for the Bureau of Enforcement, educating licensees on minor issues and pursuing administrative cases for more serious violations. Inspectors also report suspected criminal activities to sworn personnel. The role provides a take-home vehicle, uniforms, and necessary equipment.
