About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Inventory Utility Person to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Inventory department, you will be responsible for controlling the layout of the active inventory area and monitoring inventory and cycle boxes. At UniFirst we have a 5-day work week, enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
One or more years of related experience and/or training in the field is highly preferred.
Comfortable working in heights up to 40 feet.
Excellent communication skills, includes effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers and employees.
Capability to read and write English and follow verbal and/or written instruction required.
Must be proficient in computer programs, such as spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
Ability to collect, analyze data, and establish facts to draw valid conclusions.
Strong sensory skills (i.e., vision, hearing, etc.)
Ability to operate machinery at the location.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree (AS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the layout of the active inventory area.
Assist the Inventory Analyst, Cycle Count Team Lead, and Cycle Count positions with job assignments.
Engage in potential training on various powered industrial equipment (i.e.,walkie, fork truck, man-up, etc.).
Participate in plant-wide safety activities
Collaborate with colleagues to accomplish job tasks if the need to lift, carry, or push weights arises.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by leadership.
