This role is for an Inventory Technician, with progression opportunities to Field Services Technician I and II. The position involves providing IT support, managing hardware deployment and recovery, and maintaining inventory and asset management. The role requires strong technical and soft skills, with increasing autonomy and responsibility at higher levels. It is a 100% onsite position with occasional local travel. Key Deliverables by Level: Level 1 - Associate Field Services Technician I: Respond to IT service tickets using documented procedures and supervision, assist with workstation setups, perform basic AV checks, support imaging and deployments, maintain ticket documentation, follow inventory handling procedures, escalate issues, and adhere to safety protocols. Field Services Technician II (Lead Single Man Sites): Independently manage onsite IT support, serve as the primary contact for end-user needs, own AV/conference room setup and maintenance, execute full lifecycle support, oversee inventory reconciliation, prioritize and resolve tickets aligned to SLA targets, identify recurring issues, provide informal mentorship, and uphold Astreya’s quality and service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (All Levels): End-User Support: Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience. Ticket Management: Receive, document, and close support requests, prioritize tickets, and escalate complex issues. Hardware Deployment & Recovery: Assist with or independently perform workstation deployments, device imaging, equipment setup, and support device recovery and e-waste processes. Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and asset tracking. Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain and reconcile inventory of IT equipment, use asset tracking systems, and participate in audits. AV & Conference Room Support: Perform checks and basic troubleshooting of AV equipment, set up and tear down conference room tech, and support room readiness. Documentation & Process Compliance: Follow documented processes, maintain clear documentation, and adhere to Astreya and client-specific protocols. Customer Service & Communication: Serve as a visible point of contact, communicate effectively with users, and represent Astreya’s service commitment professionally.
