About The Position

DSV is a global transport and logistics company that has grown to become the world's 3rd largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics. They add value to customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing all types of goods. This role is for an Inventory Team Lead in the Solutions division, working the A Shift (Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm) on an hourly basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 year experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 2-3 years forklift experience.
• Current or prior MHE certification.
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-pace work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Excel, Outlook, Word

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of warehouse management system is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile actual stock with database records.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
• Researching historical transactions of movement of a given material.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on orders.
• Maintains in-person inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• High accuracy in data entry, physical counting, and identifying shrinkage or damaged goods.
