About The Position

Plans and performs inventory control reporting and summarizing results. Works with appropriate department personnel to ensure controls and procedures are in place that promotes inventory accuracy. Assists with audits of critical accounting controls and procedures. Manage and control company assets in storage warehouse. Prepare shipments and assist shippers, in order to ensure on time shipment of orders.

Requirements

• One to two years related experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or order picker.
