About The Position

Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) is a full-service, end-to-end document management operation. IDS advises, assists, and supports each agency’s needs, providing a wide variety of cost-efficient document solutions at a professional level. This position leads and coordinates inventory planning, warehouse logistics, procurement support, and supply chain management to ensure uninterrupted IDS Print and Mail production. This role ensures materials are strategically planned, staged, and available to support daily and weekly production while maintaining inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with State procurement requirements. The position serves as the primary liaison and subject matter expert between warehouse, production, procurement, and support teams to align supply chain activities with operational priorities. Integrates production planning, inventory data, and operational metrics to improve inventory management, replenishment, and workflow efficiency. Provides technical leadership to staff, leads continuous process improvement initiatives, and utilizes operational data to support inventory planning and decision-making. Operates in a fast-paced production environment and is accountable for maintaining operational continuity and the consistent execution of inventory and supply chain functions. This position provides lead direction to staff but does not have formal supervisory authority.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to at least five (5) years.
  • Must be a Colorado state resident at the time of application.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates inventory planning, material staging, and replenishment activities to support daily and weekly production requirements.
  • Establishes a cycle count cadence based on usage rates and monitors regularly.
  • Collaborates with production, procurement, and operational partners to align inventory and supply chain planning with production priorities and ensure materials are available to meet operational demands.
  • Evaluates inventory levels and collaborates with production and procurement to adjust replenishment strategies that minimize shortages, reduce excess inventory, and maintain efficient material flow.
  • Oversees the movement of materials from receipt through production while ensuring inventory accuracy, timely delivery, proper storage, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and cross-functional teams to maintain inventory availability, support operational priorities, and promote continuous operational improvement across IDS production operations.
  • Communicates inventory risks, constraints, and operational concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Supports audit activities by ensuring inventory processes align with established standards, policies, procurement requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provides technical leadership and day-to-day work direction for inventory and warehouse activities.
  • Prioritizes workflow, provides guidance and training, promotes standardized work practices, and serves as a resource for inventory and supply chain operations.
  • Provides operational support and assists with warehouse functions as needed to maintain workflow continuity and customer service.
  • Coordinates with Procurement to support timely sourcing and replenishment of materials.
  • Collaborates with production, procurement, and operational partners to evaluate inventory requirements, support procurement decisions, and maintain material availability.
  • Coordinates with vendors, suppliers, and business partners to maintain material availability, resolve supply issues, and support continuity of operations.
  • Ensures materials received from suppliers meet established operational and quality requirements to support uninterrupted production.
  • Ensures purchasing activities align with State procurement rules, policies, and procedures while supporting operational priorities and supply chain continuity.
  • Utilizes inventory management systems and operational data to monitor demand, prioritize inventory activities, and support inventory planning and operational decision making.
  • Analyzes inventory trends, production requirements, and workflow data to improve inventory accuracy, anticipate material needs, and support continuous process improvement.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve inventory control, warehouse logistics, and material flow.
  • Develops, documents, and implements standardized work practices that improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and consistency.
