About The Position

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Inventory Supervisor to join our team. This is a salaried position with pay dependent on relevant experience. Based in the heart of rural Menominee County, MI, we are a privately-owned full-service designer and manufacturer of blending and convey equipment for the plastics industry. We have state-of-the-art fabrication, machining, and panel-building facilities in Wallace. Requirements

  • Ability to effectively coach and supervise others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively utilize the company ERP software system
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred; ability to become certified within 30 days required
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Associate's degree in a related field and/or 1–3 years of inventory control experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Overseeing the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure our manufacturing team has the parts and materials needed to meet project deadlines
  • Managing the picking schedule, inventory software, and inventory staff
  • Picking and processing projects, spare parts orders, warranty orders, and internal jobs
  • Accurately recording materials issued and returned using our ERP system
  • Keeping inventory information current
  • Following established accounting procedures
  • Conducting cycle counts and physical inventory counts
  • Reconciling discrepancies
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels of finished equipment and components
  • Coaching your team
  • Coordinating daily priorities
  • Implementing departmental processes and procedures
  • Maintaining an organized inventory area by planning layout improvements
  • Inspecting equipment, arranging repairs and replacements
  • Monitoring security procedures to safeguard inventory
  • Supporting the "Safety Always" motto by following company policies and procedures and maintaining a safe and orderly work area
