About The Position

Parts Authority is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of automotive parts for domestic and European vehicles. The role involves working with inventory management software, suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams to keep inventory accurate, available, and well organized. The hourly rate is $17.50.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Nice To Haves

Additional education or certification in inventory management.
Knowledge of domestic and European automotive parts.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish inventory as needed.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of automotive parts.
Perform regular inventory audits, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Work with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize inventory storage and organization.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and related metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement solutions.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
