About The Position

viaPhoton is hiring an Inventory Specialist to help keep its supply chain moving by managing inventory accurately and carefully. The role tracks parts from arrival through shipment, identifies discrepancies, and ensures teams have the materials they need. The position is onsite in Naperville, Illinois, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses, prorated based on start date.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Careful attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Ability to work self-directed and follow procedures consistently.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and general inventory management practices.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies, misplaced items, and other inventory concerns.
• Inspect inbound materials and verify received goods.
• Fulfill order-picking requests from customer service and sales teams.
• Process inventory and audit reports, and investigate over/short/trash requests.
• Help improve inventory management processes and procedures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
