Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Three years job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to operate Forklift and Combilift.
  • Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
  • Must be DOT certifiable. (Must be 21 years of age to be DOT certified).
  • Complies with DOT regulations to help maintain a satisfactory Safety Rating.
  • Performs all duties and areas of responsibility in accordance to established operational procedures to ensure efficiency, quality and conformance to applicable DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.

  • General knowledge of Taylor Parts System would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and bill of materials.
  • Maintains in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
