About The Position

This role executes warehouse operations focusing on service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements, and policy compliance. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate with internal and external business partners, including third-party logistics vendors, to ensure effective management, timely solutions, and execution. Key responsibilities include inventory management (iDoc management, stock reconciliation), interfaces monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, third-party performance management, and pallets management.

Requirements

  • Having a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, especially highly experienced with Excel.
  • Enjoys team work.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Good knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP R3.

  • Experience in logistics operations, procurement or supply chain function in general.

Responsibilities

  • Execute warehouse operations in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.
  • Manage inventory activities including iDoc management and stock reconciliation.
  • Monitor interfaces and track and trace shipments.
  • Handle claims and invoice management.
  • Ensure compliance execution for HSE, quality, and risk management.
  • Provide support for tenders and manage third-party performance.
  • Oversee pallets management.
  • Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and ensure accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system.
  • Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance, and KPI monitoring, introducing corrective measures as needed.
  • Work with service providers to ensure timely and complete delivery of trading partners, adhering to quality and HACCP guidelines.
  • Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life management, support reduction of write-offs, and improve productivities.
  • Conduct project-related and ad hoc tasks, including continuous improvement projects, tenders, and peak management.
  • Build and provide full-cost analysis (yearly budget), risks, and opportunities.
