About The Position

The specialist may also manage product information, warranty files, and patient charge capture for medical supplies. Responsibilities

  • Identifies, locates and purchases materials, supplies and equipment in a cost effective manner.
  • Completes necessary purchasing documentation.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of assets and supplies.
  • Forecasts inventory needs.
  • Prioritizes purchase requests to provide timely delivery of necessary products.
  • May maintain product information and warranty files.
  • May be responsible for patient charge capture for dispensed medical supplies to ensure accurate patient billing.
