About The Position

Functions in the operating room by maintaining adequate inventory levels. Is responsible for accurately and efficiently posting charges for all areas of Surgical Services.

Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Less than 1 year experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and products in accordance with inventory cycles and hospital needs
  • Scan PARS
  • Work with individual departments on PARS
  • Deliver and stock the PARS as needed
  • Be alert to expired items and handle according to policy
  • Maintain the supply rooms
  • Work on the receiving doc and process deliveries appropriately
  • Work with Sales Representatives and log items into the system for special surgical cases
  • Place all orders
  • Manage hospital wide inventory
