About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. This role's purpose is to maintain and record the integrity of inventory by performing random and scheduled inventory audits for financial and operational purposes. The Inventory Specialist will also perform basic root cause analysis, make recommendations, and track results for effectiveness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Up to 2 years relevant experience.
PC skills and ability with basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
Willingness to be trained and certified in the use of forklift and other material handling equipment.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
Regularly lift and move materials up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts of planned and random part numbers to check for accuracy.
Analyze count results for reasonableness.
Determine/implement adjustments to inventory/location database masters and complete Cycle Count Explanation forms as required.
Work with DC Managers or Supervisors, Planners, Cell Managers, Plant Controllers, and others to identify and implement corrective actions.
Perform procedural audits on WIP, LOG Sign-ins, Bond Areas, Locations, Purchase Sign-ins, Outside Service Sign-ins, MTOs, PTOs, and "Hold" areas.
Provide monthly reporting and analysis to those affected on location accuracy and inventory count performance.
Coordinate physical inventories as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
