About The Position

This position ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, including EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, and Sarbanes Oxley. The role performs other duties deemed integral by management, such as fulfilling work schedules, adhering to attendance policies, and following operating rules. The technician is responsible for reporting, completing root cause analyses, and corrective actions, as well as submitting samples and analyzing trends related to customer complaints. They will perform allergen monitoring and validation, conduct monthly safety inspections/audits, and gather information for accident investigations. Additional duties include unloading delivery trucks, managing inventory of bags and ingredients using FIFO, offloading tankers, and completing inventory on packaging and ingredients. The role also involves completing daily/weekly administrative paperwork, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Reporting, completing root cause analyzes, and correct actions
Submit samples, update/analyze trends regarding customer complaints/concerns
Perform the necessary tasks and complete records for allergen monitoring/ validation
Monthly safety inspections/audits
Gather necessary information for accident investigations to include but not limited to pictures, measurements, evidence, etc.
Unload delivery trucks
Keep bags and ingredients rotated (FIFO) and inspected
Offloading tankers
Completing inventory on packaging and ingredients
Completes daily/weekly administrative paperwork.
Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
