About The Position

Flowers Foods, Inc. is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods in the United States. This full-time position ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, including EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, and Sarbanes Oxley. The role involves various duties integral to the job, such as fulfilling work schedules, adhering to attendance policies, and following operating rules. The technician will be responsible for reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to customer complaints and concerns, as well as performing allergen monitoring and validation. Additionally, the position includes conducting monthly safety inspections/audits, gathering information for accident investigations, managing inventory of packaging and ingredients, and completing daily/weekly administrative paperwork. The work area must be kept clean and organized.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training.
Equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Reporting, completing root cause analyzes, and correct actions
Submit samples, update/analyze trends regarding customer complaints/concerns
Perform the necessary tasks and complete records for allergen monitoring/ validation
Monthly safety inspections/audits
Gather necessary information for accident investigations to include but not limited to pictures, measurements, evidence, etc.
Unload delivery trucks
Keep bags and ingredients rotated (FIFO) and inspected
Offloading tankers
Completing inventory on packaging and ingredients
Completes daily/weekly administrative paperwork.
Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
