About The Position

The CX Onsite Inventory Representative will support our efforts on the Amazon Web Services Project in New Carlisle, IN. Our current need requires an associate to perform many tasks related to inventory management and warehousing. The candidate will be reporting to work at our warehouse in South Bend, IN (701 W. Chippewa South Bend, IN), and will commute to the jobsite 15 miles away to visit the different locations where we have material carts. They will be counting, organizing, and reordering inventory at these various locations. This is a very customer facing position at a Key Project with a Key Partner, and it is a very collaborative position internally and externally. In addition to inventory management skills, we will be looking for a candidate with a positive attitude and solid work ethic. This is also an active jobsite with stringent onboarding and safety rules, so someone who has experience on a jobsite or working in a facility that emphasized safety would be preferred. In this role you will: Assist in handling a company's inventory; and keep inventory operations smooth and efficient in the stock room, warehouse, or receiving department. Process inventory orders, log items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and move product from the stock room or warehouse to the required location, and vice versa. Inspect shipments of new stock as they come in, check to make sure orders have been filled correctly, and look for damage; and make arrangements to correct damaged or incorrect orders. Unload and load inventory trucks and place items in their proper place in the stock room or warehouse. Prepare and apply shipping and mailing labels to items that are being shipped out of the company to fulfill orders or replace damaged stock. Double-check all prices to ensure that the amount charged for each item matches the amount paid. Research prices with various suppliers to make sure that stock is being purchased at the best possible price from vendors. May assist on a retail sales floor, fulfilling tasks like running the cash register and assembling sales displays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Customer service skills
Communication skills

Nice To Haves

Inventory Management experience preferred
Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving experience preferred
