About The Position

Find out exactly why Recom’s inventory comes up short and fix the processes that cause it. Trace units from purchase order through the ERP and into Amazon FBA, including returns, reconcile Recom’s records against Amazon’s, and quantify the financial impact of every gap. This is an investigative finance and systems role, not demand planning or day-to-day warehouse management. The role reports to the Director of Procurement Operations and partners with Senior Warehouse Management and the SVPs of Operations and Logistics to fix root causes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in audit, forensic accounting, management consulting, inventory or cost accounting, or supply chain finance.
• Experience leading reconciliations or investigations across large datasets from multiple systems, such as ERP, WMS, or marketplace systems.
• Advanced Excel experience, such as Power Query, pivot tables, and XLOOKUP, analyzing datasets of 100,000 or more rows.
• Experience redesigning a business process or internal control based on personal analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Big Four or management consulting experience, especially in forensic, advisory, or operations practices.
• CPA, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CMA, or CIA certification.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central or FBA inventory and reimbursement reports.
• Experience with NetSuite, SQL, or Power BI.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement training.

Responsibilities

• Map the end-to-end inventory flow from purchase order to FBA inbound, sale, and customer return.
• Pull ERP data and reconcile it against Amazon inventory and transaction reports to pinpoint unit and dollar discrepancies.
• Investigate shortages to root cause, documenting evidence and findings to audit standards.
• Quantify the financial and audit impact of each gap and present recommendations to Finance and Operations leaders.
• Redesign broken processes and controls with warehouse and operations leaders so gaps do not recur.
• Build repeatable reconciliation reports and KPIs that flag new discrepancies early.
