About The Position

NIC Global is seeking a hands-on leader to own Production Planning and Inventory Control for three Midwest sheet metal fabrication and assembly plants. The role turns customer demand into capacity-feasible production schedules, establishes and maintains inventory plans, and ensures ERP planning data and inventory records are accurate so the plants can ship on time with appropriate inventory. The supervisor leads planners and cycle counters, directly supervises the Tennessee planning and cycle-counting staff, and provides process direction to planners in Ohio and Texas. The position works closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Shipping, Accounting, and Sales, and may require occasional travel to the Ohio and Texas plants. The role oversees production planning, capacity planning, inventory management and control, MRP data integrity, work-order release and monitoring, and performance reporting. It also supports improvement projects such as new product or customer ramp-ups, work transfers between plants, and ERP and reporting improvements. This is mostly a sedentary, office position, with participation in cycle counts that may involve climbing stationary ladders. The position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations. NIC Global is a single-source manufacturer providing mechanical and electromechanical assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components. The company employs over 600 people across Washington, Tennessee, Ohio, and Texas. Employment offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
