About The Position

This position is responsible for distributing gaming forms and equipment, checking received shipments for accuracy, contacting vendors regarding discrepancies, maintaining knowledge of assigned inventory, performing cycle counts, preparing items for return shipment, and maintaining documentation. The role also requires adherence to department policies, including uniform requirements, mandatory training, and maintaining confidentiality. Employees are expected to represent the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa professionally and maintain proper attendance and a clean work area. Flexibility to assume additional responsibilities is also necessary.

  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation’s Personnel Policies.
  • Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks.
  • Some travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong mathematical aptitude preferred
  • Previous gaming experience is preferred.
  • Previous Inventory Control experience is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer applications including word processing, databases and/or data entry, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes gaming forms/gaming equipment and documents the distribution.
  • Checks received shipments for accuracy, makes proper distribution of materials and supporting documents.
  • Contacts vendors regarding damage, errors in partial or duplicate shipments, price substitutes, billings and extensions.
  • Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of all assigned inventory.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels on all assigned inventory.
  • Performs routine, monthly cycle counting and logs counts.
  • Assist in keeping accurate files of current Slot machines.
  • Prepare and verify items for return shipment and maintain documentation of all shipments sent out.
  • Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients.
  • Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
  • Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.
  • Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.
  • Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
