About The Position

PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods. This is a support position to Maintenance Staff with a focus on the Oracle system, work orders, and parts management. The role aims to improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the planning and coordination of parts, material, and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to provide Duties and Responsibilities without direction
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel and basic PC skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven decision-making ability
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to learn all functions of job within a reasonable amount of time
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions and to keep accurate written records
  • Ability to work various hours and shifts
  • Able to work overtime when required
  • Flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, entering and managing maintenance parts into inventory system
  • Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory of parts room
  • Enter requisitions for parts needed by Maintenance Staff
  • Maintains receiving records and reconciles against purchase orders for accurate financial reporting and timely payment of invoices
  • Generate reports as needed for Maintenance staff
  • Review, assign, and print Work Orders from WO system
  • Maintains excellent housekeeping in parts room based on 5S principles
  • Assists in working with vendors, suppliers and service providers
  • Maintains technical library and its documentation (OEM manuals, drawings, supplier catalogs)
  • Complies with the national, state, local building/mechanical/electrical codes; safety codes, OSHA regulations, fire codes, company’s and customer’s policies, procedures and standards
  • Maintains technical knowledge, reviewing technical publications; establishing personal knowledge
  • Work with the team and reduce parts cost
  • Other duties as assigned
