About The Position

The Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the contract. This role involves planning and overseeing inventory operations, directing employees in various inventory-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in inventory using WMS or equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years.
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
  • Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Possess a Valid Driver’s License without special restrictions.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences in accordance with general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
  • Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
  • Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
  • Ensures work is done properly and efficiently in accordance with the terms and condition of the contract.
  • Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.
  • Oversees the inventory operations of Government-owned mission stock.
  • Directs employees engaged in conducting WMS inventories, researching inventory discrepancies, and documenting gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, item data maintenance, and location surveys.
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
