The inventory manager position coordinates activities related to stocking/replenishing goods sold by the company, purchasing product, forecasting purchases, monitoring, and updating Service Titan and completing, managing and/or implementing general maintenance of the fleet, building, and property. This role involves managing an inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels, evaluating these to improve control procedures, and analyzing daily product and supply levels to anticipate problems. The manager will also optimize operations by managing delivery and shipment schedules, communicate with inventory employees, develop business relationships with suppliers and clients, and propose strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain logistics. Key responsibilities include monitoring demand, analyzing data for future needs, reporting to upper management on various metrics, and managing the recruitment and training of new inventory employees. Additionally, the position requires tracking uniform counts, maintaining general shop cleanliness and organization, and managing vehicle organization, registration, and inspection.
