About The Position

Adamas Building Services is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Inventory Manager to oversee the inventory operations that support our residential and commercial properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain optimal stock levels, and coordinate the timely distribution of materials and equipment to field teams and property locations.

Requirements

  • Diploma/GED required
  • Must be professional, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting 23 kg unassisted
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  • Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
  • MUST have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
  • Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
  • Must be available to work on-call or when needed due to staffing shortages
  • Must pass comprehensive background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with inventory management software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of inventory, supplies, equipment, and materials across multiple properties and departments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts, audits, and inventory management systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Coordinate the distribution of supplies, uniforms, equipment, and maintenance materials to employees and property locations.
  • Track inventory usage and identify trends to improve purchasing decisions and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies or damaged shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure inventory storage area while adhering to company safety standards.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide management with recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Assist management with special projects and operational requests as needed.
