Requirements
- Ability to read and decipher engineering drawings and complex part descriptions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read packing slips, part labels, and work orders.
- Proactive nature, good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify quality of incoming material against drawings to ensure proper fit, form, and length.
- Match quantity of incoming material against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure proper amounts are received into inventory.
- Communicate shortages, damages, or stock issues to the Materials or Inventory Manager.
- Accurately label, stage, and store materials in assigned warehouse locations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
- Perform inventory transactions in the system (GS or ERP) to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Support cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deliver materials to production, fabrication, or other departments as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and support continuous improvement in material flow.
