About The Position

Saad Meats, a premier supplier of quality meats located in Detroit’s Eastern Market, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory tracking, organizational skills, and ensuring a smooth flow of products. This role includes loading/unloading of goods, managing the FIFO (First In, First Out) process, and creating and maintaining flow charts for inventory movement.

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with inventory software and systems.
Knowledge of FIFO principles.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate loading/unloading equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Efficiently load and unload products to ensure smooth operations.
Accurately track stock levels and update inventory management systems.
Implement and oversee the First In, First Out process to reduce waste and ensure product freshness.
Develop and maintain flow charts to visualize inventory movement and storage plans.
Maintain an organized inventory system, ensuring everything is properly labeled and stored.
Create and manage location maps for easy identification and access to inventory.
Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, reorder points, and discrepancies.
