About The Position

The Inventory Management Support Level E role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking and kitting of materials required for customer orders and production assemblies. This position supports daily production operations by preparing material kits based on the production schedule, assigning storage locations, and maintaining accurate inventory records within the ERP system. The role also involves tracking kit status, issuing materials for projects, and supporting production teams by ensuring required materials are available at the point of use. This individual will provide documentation required for kit assembly, including drawings, pick lists, and shop order reports. Additionally, the role includes performing audits of chemical product shelf life to ensure compliance and identify expired materials.

Requirements

  • Fully proficient job knowledge and skills required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate’s Degree or 2 years of post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Edge.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in data management and inventory processing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily production schedules and identify materials required for scheduled production quantities.
  • Locate and pull necessary materials from inventory locations and record all transactions within the ERP system.
  • Prepare and process raw materials to meet the correct specifications for production.
  • Ensure continuous supply of parts and materials to production and assembly personnel.
  • Assemble production kits to ensure all required components are available at the point of use to maintain production flow.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure correct parts are stocked in appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.
  • Expedite and move production parts as needed, including picking parts for point-of-use locations and Kanban systems.
  • Address material shortages and urgent production issues to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Perform periodic audits of chemical product shelf life to identify expired materials and ensure proper inventory control.
