2027 Inventory Management Internship - San Francisco
About The Position
We are seeking agile and innovative inventory planners for a 10-week program designed to be a game-changing first step in kicking off your career. You will develop your skills alongside a team of supportive mentors and inspiring leaders. Our inventory team ensures that the right products are available for the customer. As an intern, you will work closely with a team for a specific category (e.g., furniture, tabletop, bath) to gain behind-the-scenes insight on how they use forecasting tools to optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support top-line sales. You will use that information to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future inventory needs.
Requirements
- Data and deadlines drive your decision making.
- Think strategically and critically to solve problems.
- Excel experience: vlooks-ups, pivot tables, etc.
- Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Able to work onsite at one of our brands in San Francisco.
- Know how to prioritize and move quickly to react to our ever-changing business.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team for a specific category to gain insight on forecasting tools.
- Optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support top-line sales.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future inventory needs.
- Lead projects and gain experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Pioneer a new idea and present it to the executive leadership team.
