About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking an Inventory/Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Huntsville, AL. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory management, generating reports, handling shipping and receiving, ensuring quality control, and developing process improvements for loss mitigation and inventory optimization. The position requires a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Requirements

2-4 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with JAMIS Manufacturing and asset management systems is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field of study is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the storing and receiving of products and supplies.
Ensure that inventory levels are maintained accurately to meet operational needs.
Generate accurate inventory reports using tools such as Microsoft Excel and inventory management software to track stock levels and identify trends.
Responsible for shipping things on occasion.
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Develop and implement protocols for loss mitigation and inventory optimization, contributing to overall supply chain efficiency.
