Requirements

Ability to receive, verify, and store consigned inventory efficiently and accurately.
Experience in boxing or containerizing inventory by the seller and storing it on designated shelves.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, memoranda, and company policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Valid Alaska driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background and reference check.

Nice To Haves

1 year of related shipping or warehouse operations experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule or direction.
Maintain the inventory tracking system accurately to ensure items are stored safely and organized.
Optimize warehouse space utilization while prioritizing safety and preventing damage to consigned merchandise.
Follow APAA policies for storing special items such as combustibles, firearms, jewelry, precious stones, and metals.
Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, hand trucks, carts, or other conveyances as required.
Keep the loadout bay, warehouse, and all storage areas clean and free of garbage, debris, snow, and ice.
Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Report any inventory discrepancies or damage to consigned merchandise immediately.
Ensure all buyers’ merchandise marked for “shipping” is transferred to the shipping department.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
